Okay, so this was an ad on Craigslist today. I wanted to share it for a variety of reasons.
As a job applicant I'm being told that this clinic wants a part time employee to work as a receptionist. There will be little management but apparently a lot of expectations. They want someone computer savvy on a book-keeping application which means they have greater expectations than basic reception.
The applicant must live within a certain distance which means you better plan on being there if it snows. And you better not be old or overweight since they want a healthy employee.
And this part time employee who'll be expected to do everything with a smile, will also be expected to take blood pressures and work with lab samples?
The best part of the ad? The part you don't see. They're paying $12 an hour. In this marketplace that's ridiculous. But they'll probably find someone who'll take the job and won't last.
I can guarantee from the advertisement, that would be a shit place to work.
